About

Drew Wiegman is a maverick in the music world, an accomplished improvisational cellist who plays entirely by ear. Wiegman leans on raw talent and an ear for artistic intuition to craft life-affirming music that stirs the heart and soul.

Despite his lack of classical training, Wiegman has taken the cello from formal concert halls to the mainstream with a mix of stirring movie scores, reimagined pop favorites, classical compositions, and his own original music.

Over the past four years, Wiegman has built a devoted social media fanbase, amassing over 750,000 TikTok followers through his daily livestreams. His approach is deliberately eclectic and inclusive, experimenting across genres with the firm belief that "No matter who you are, I have a song for you."

2025 marks Wiegman's transition to more live, in-person performances. His recent hometown show at the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts near Chicago demonstrated his ability to convert online popularity into ticket sales, drawing over 500 guests from across the US and worldwide. This success has generated significant press attention and plans for additional live performances.

At the heart of Wiegman's performances lies his inspiring message: "Anyone can accomplish their dreams if they are willing to put in the effort and have the courage to be themselves."

An impressive discography of six original albums and over 80 singles (which have garnered millions of streams across major streaming platforms) shows that Wiegman’s philosophy is more than just a motto – it’s a movement.
